Hymn of St, Aloysius
(click to play)
O thou on whose bright natal day
Was given to Mary’s tender care
That who beneath her loving gentle sway
Kept thy soul like to hers so fair.
Chorus:
Sweet flower of love that sought to bloom unknown
A saint mid gaudy pomp and worldly pride
//Angelic Youth! Blest Aloysius
Guide thou our hearts thro’ sins dark tide //
2. O thou who a crown cast away
To be with Christ despised and poor
Teach us to walk thy pure and humble way
Happy still, though small our store.

(Chorus)

3. May thought, word and deed be from sin
As far as thine, as chastely free
That we from Mary’s tender heart may win
All the love that she gave to thee.

Make Me a Channel of Your Peace

Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is heatred let me bring love,
where there is injury, your pardon, Lord
And where there's doubt, true faith in you.
Chorus:
Oh Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
to be loved as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace
Where ther's despair in life, let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where there's sadness, ever joy.

(Chorus)

Make me a channel of your peace
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
In giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we're born to eternal life.
(Chorus)
